Our History

Dr. Raj Jaju founded Gentle Dental Care in 1983 while based in Mumbai, India. It was established with the core intention of minimizing dental phobia, an issue widely prevalent among patients. GDC was then opened in Abu Dhabi in 2001 to further deliver state-of-the-art dental treatment with a gentle approach.

Following 37 years of experience and 14 years of a successful 2 chair private practice on Hamdan Street in Abu Dhabi, Dr. Jaju decided it was time to make her vision come true; to create a bigger multi-speciality practice to better service the comprehensive needs of her patients.

Vision & Philosophy

We are dedicated to the highest level of patient care and have designed the center to make patients feel comfortable the moment they step in our door. We believe in treating every single patient like we would want to be treated.

We also promote dental education and innovation. That is why we have a 20 seat Conference Room on our top floor. We invite leading speakers and clinicians in the field for lectures and training. We provide frequent training sessions for our staff to implement the latest concepts in dentistry.

Our Leaders

Our team consists of a specialist Orthodontist and Implantologist with a 37 year experience in General Dentistry.

Many of our specialists are also teachers in their respective fields and are thus abreast with the latest knowledge and technological advances in dentistry.
